Camp Testimony

“Right before covid, I was going through some challenges regarding my identity. I placed labels over myself and believed lies about who I was. If I’m being honest I wanted nothing to do with god and church. I used covid as an excuse for my behaviors and to mask what I was going through and tried to push them away. I’ve been baptized before at a young age so at Sharptop when my cabin leaders told us we were doing baptisms that night, I didn’t feel compelled to recommit. it was only on our way to the baptisms that I felt the presence of the holy spirit take over and I heard god saying “This was my time”. god perfectly designed that night. immediately after rising to the surface, I felt this peace that overtook my body all that weight was lifted off my shoulders. in that very moment of coming out of the water, I heard the lord say that I was made new in his image and I know my identity is found with him. I have no doubts about who I am and who he created me to be. I know that I am no longer a slave to fear and that I am his child. I know I am called to worship and use my talents to glorify him.”

Camp 2024, from July 28th - August 2nd, 2024! 
Our camp is meant to provide our students with a few days to fully surrender to the Holy Spirit which is why this year we are going back to SharpTop Cove in Jasper, Georgia to have a mountain top moment. To be eligible to attend this camp you must have just completed grade 6-12 as of May 1st, 2024.

WHO CAN GO

CAMP COST

Any teen who has completed 6-12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year.
MLC Member who would like to volunteer as a Camp leader or member of the kitchen team.

The total cost of the camp will be $300. Upon registration a payment of $50 will need to be made to secure your spot. The remaining $250 can be made at once or in intervals.
