What is STEPS?
We believe growing people change, because wherever you are in life, whatever is going on, you will always need a next step to grow. At Metro Life Church we have a growth path you can follow called STEPS which will guide you in living your best life with God.
STEPS will help you identify where you are now and what your next step should be. The goal is to help you progress from being new, to being connected, to being a leader in God’s House.
No one does STEPS alone.

STEPS CLASS
Ready to learn more about MLC and discover what it means to become a member here? STEPS Class is the way to get it done! It is your FIRST STEP on your journey to finding your purpose and learning how you can make an impact in our church and community. You will have an opportunity to meet our team of great leaders, see the vision of the church and learn more about the gifts that are unique to you.
STEPS Class is your starting point if you are ready to serve and connect. Whether you are a seasoned leader in ministry or a new attender to MLC, you are encouraged to experience STEPS Class.
STEPS Class is a 8 class program that takes place Sunday mornings at 10:00am in Doral and at 9:30am in Dadeland. We invite our Starters (that’s YOU!) to register for a class below. If you happen to miss a class, an opportunity will be given to you to make it up.

Step 2: Connect Groups
At Metro we believe that the most important relationship we can have after our relationship with God is the one we have with each other. This is why we focus on connecting one with the other through our Connect Groups. In the link below you will find great study topics or areas of interest that might inspire you to join a group; and that’s a great motivator. Our primary goal is for you to create impactful relationships in your Connect Group in order to be the church and do life together.

Step 3: Serve
Most of us want to make a difference; we want to leave our footprint on the world. God has gifted each of us with a particular set of skills to do just that – through the local church. As a Christ follower, one of the most powerful lessons you can put into action is serving in the church. Jesus Himself said that He did not come to be served but to serve others. When you volunteer your time and talent in the local church, you’ll discover the key to unlocking a life of influence and change.
Before you begin to serve at MLC, we ask that you go through STEPS Class. Why? Because STEPS Class will help you discover your gifts and personality to connect you with the best fit possible in serving.
Step 4: 42 Lead
The next step of growth after STEPS Class, Connect Groups, and serving is leadership. When you get to this final STEP, understand that you are now set up to take Metro Life Church to its fullest effectiveness in serving others. The win for this whole STEPS journey is recognizing that everything that you went through in life, prior to this moment, was for the purpose to prepare you to help other people.
