Metro Kids

Metro Kids is an interactive, high-energy kids’ ministry designed with every child in mind!  Our goal is to teach kids about God while taking care of their every need so that their parents can enjoy the main service with peace of mind. We take the responsibility of developing each child’s faith very seriously, so our Metro Kids’ services are tailored so that babies to 5th grade kids can experience God’s love and learn to have a real relationship with Jesus.  We focus on three things; a child’s understanding of their relationship with God, their safety, and FUN. We have a state-of-the-art safety and background check procedures through Ministry Safe, which allow us to create a fun safe environment for all children. Metro Kids are led by caring, loving, God-minded people who meet the kids at their ability level, and desire to see every child living for Jesus.

PRESCHOOL AGES

Our Nursery Team is ready each week to care for babies ages 0 to 17 months. A team member will ask you to fill out a nursery Fast Pass which will let our team know your baby’s feeding time, preferences and any other need to know information for our team to care for your little one in a calm and loving environment. We believe even our tiniest Metro Kids can learn about and experience God’s love during our Sunday Services.

Our Toddler Team is ready each week to care for toddlers ages 18 months to 2 years. As they enter the classroom they will be greeted by their teacher and given an activity to engage in, we know our littlest of kids are capable of learning as we engage their senses. In our toddler classroom, our lessons aim to stimulate their brains and hearts for the Lord through music, crafts and playtime in our playroom!

Our Preschool Team is ready each week to care for preschoolers ages 3 years to Pre-K. As they enter the classroom they are greeted by their teacher and encouraged to meet their classmates as they settle in. We believe at this age it is important to give our Metro Kids independence and teach them responsibility as we ask them to volunteer to be helpers within their class. Our lessons are created to captivate their attention and encourage them to ask questions as they learn about God!

ELEMENTARY

Elementary is our lively dynamic program for kids in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each of our weekend services are the perfect combination of vibrant media components and live interaction that includes acting and characters, games and more. A combination of a large and small group environment is created, where kids are strategically placed on teams, with leaders who are there to personally connect with them.

HAND IN HAND

Metro Life is pleased to offer appropriate Bible teaching for EVERY child, including those with special needs. We work to include these amazing kids with our elementary age group to create a fun learning experience for all. There are plenty of helpers in this class, the ratio is never more than 1:2, and your child will feel safe and secure while experiencing the love of Jesus!
