What to Expect
Visiting a church can be like going on a blind-date--there's great potential, but there are also lots of unknowns. We hope the information below will minimize the unknowns for your first visit to MLC. So, here's what you need to know:
Parking
There's plenty of it, but it goes fast. We tell our regulars to park away from the building to leave spots in the front open for you.
Walking In
You'll be greeted warmly by some friendly people. Our Guest Experience Team will hand you a bag of goodies with all you need to know about MLC and will direct you to the main auditorium. If you have children, they will be glad to escort you to MLC Jamz. If your child is shy, feel free to keep them with you in the adult service.
Our Services
Our services begin on time and usually last for 90 minutes. We have praise and worship for 20 minutes, followed by a time of prayer, and then a relevant message that you will immediately be able to apply in your everyday life.
For Kids (Nursery-5th Grade)
The MLC Jamz entrance is located to the left of our main entrance, although you can also access the facility at the rear of our main sanctuary.
When you drop your child off at their age appropriate class, you will be given a pager so that we may contact you if the need arises. And because your kids' safety is of utmost importance, all workers are trained and cleared through local and federal background checks.
For Teens (6th-12th Grade)
Infuz Youth Ministry (Middle and High School) meets on Friday nights at 7 pm for their own time of dynamic worship and teaching. In addition, Infuz Hanging with Friends small groups meet Wednesdays for a time of engaging discussion on the topics they face today.
For College-Aged People and Young Adults
Relate socializes weekly at Miami's coolest locations after our Saturday 7pm evening service. In addition, Relate is part of WWF on Wednesdays for a time of engaging discussions.
A Guest Suite Prepared Just for You
You will be invited to spend a few moments with us after service in our Guest Suite where we will find out more about you while you find out more about us. Knowing that you will like what you feel here at MLC, we will tell you all about our Next Steps.
